A Great Missionary Prayer

Today at PBF we enjoyed the ministry of Dr. Charles Woodrow, a medical doctor from Mozambique. He spoke with warmth and conviction about making much of the name of God and the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. We concluded the service with Paul's missionary prayer recorded in Romans 16:25-27. This is a prayer that is worth sustained contemplation and detailed study. What riches are contained in such a few words. It is my prayer that I may enter into what Paul is praying in an ever increasing measure as I walk with the Saviour.

Now to him who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to faith and obedience - to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.
